Our School Ambassodors
At Greasby Junior School, we believe every child should have the chance to develop confidence, responsibility and a strong voice within our school community. Our Pupil Leadership roles give children meaningful opportunities to contribute, lead and make a positive difference.
Throughout the year, pupils can take on a wide range of leadership roles, including:
- School Council Representatives – elected by their classmates to share ideas, gather pupil voice and help shape school improvements.
- Play Leaders – supporting active, positive and inclusive playtimes for younger children.
- House Captains – leading their house, motivating others and contributing to our weekly Celebration Assembly.
- Values Ambassadors – modelling our school and MAT values and celebrating examples seen across the school.
- Reading Champions – inspiring a love of reading and supporting younger pupils with reading and homework.
- Tour Guides – showing visitors around school and explaining all of the things that make us proud to be a part of GJS.
Alongside these whole-school roles, every class also has its own class monitors, who help with day-to-day responsibilities and ensure that classroom life runs smoothly and efficiently.
At Greasby Junior School, every role is important. Each one contributes to the teamwork, kindness and sense of pride that make our school such a supportive and vibrant community. Together, these roles help pupils grow into confident, caring and considerate young leaders—ready for the next stage of their education and life beyond.
