Greasby Junior School

What does it mean to be a School Councillor?

At Greasby Junior School, our School Council plays an important role in giving pupils a meaningful voice in school life. Each year, every class practises democracy by electing a representative who will speak on behalf of their classmates and help shape improvements across the school.

Led by Miss Masterman, the School Council meets regularly to discuss pupil suggestions, plan events, and support whole-school projects. Representatives learn to listen carefully to others, share ideas confidently, and work collaboratively to make positive changes.

Being part of the School Council is a valued leadership opportunity. Members develop confidence, responsibility, and communication skills whilst helping to ensure that every child at Greasby Junior School is heard.
